This forum was created by two property professionals in response to the increasing legislation that affects landlords and tenants alike. Although primarily aimed at landlords in England and Wales, there will be a section for Scottish landlord in the near future and we welcome contributions from property experts in Scotland. We also welcome contributions from tenants since we understand that they also need help and often raise questions from a differing viewpoint. We certainly do not believe that all landlords are angels or that all tenants are devils!

Whether you are a landlord with one property or one hundred, a tenant or a property professional you are welcome to this forum. The forum is free to browse but we do ask that you register if you wish to post in the forum. We will not be charging members for the advice forum, but we will be offering some documents for landlords such as Agreements, Notices to Quit, Abandonment Notices etc and these will be available to registered members for an annual fee.

We are not tied to any particular organisation but we are individually members of National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS), Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), Guild of Letting & Management (GLM), UK Association of Letting Agents (UKALA), Residential Landlords Association (RLA), National Landlords Association (NLA), & Westcountry Landlords Association (WCLA) and invite contributions from their members.

We will not be advertising property for sale or rent on the forum and would ask you not to post adverts. If you wish us to advertise your property for you we can do so on an individual basis through our respective companies. Please contact us for further information on this service.

The views expressed on this forum are those of the poster only and are not necessarily ours. Where the forum owners offer advice this is "Without Prejudice" and if in any doubt, you are advised to seek legal advice.

For those wishing to advertise professional services, please contact us for our rates and terms of business.

Finally if there are any topics not covered in the forum or you have any suggestions as to how we can improve this forum, please let us know. We want this forum to be a success and with your help, it will be.
